I personally think it’s fine. I mean, who’s to judge what makes you happy(as long as it’s not illegal). I think about yaoi all the time cause I enjoy reading it. Isn't yaoi literally porn? So maybe u can say it is indeed porn addiction. Also don't worry i also experienced this, when i first started reading yaois it caused a huge toll in my mental health, as someone who had maladaptive daydreaming and also many many intrusive thoughts every time i space out uncomfortable stuff abt the yaois(esp the smut part......   1 reply

Personally I love yaoi but I had to escape because it set unrealistic standards about love and sex. The men are too handsome and carved like statues and their dicks are unrealistically perfect along with their amazing bed skills. It just ruins your expectations irl. The first BL I saw was the anime Love Stage!!, but my first BL/yaoi manga I read were Okane ga Nai and the Viewfinder series as they were also one of the first BL/yaoi animes, well technically OVAs, I saw. That was 11 or even almost 12 years ago.   reply
