OMG. I have second hand embarrassment. I also ramble like that. I always tell people to stop me but they never do if you’re worried about being sent to HR you must not be closed. Just redirect them or tell them you gotta catch up on some work.   reply

I mean, isn't the whole thing with autism that they often simply don't get conversational clues like that? They don't look for the hidden meaning behind your words but simply take them at face value. Just be kind but honest. Tell them that while you enjoy talking to them, you noticed it hinders your work and your work efficiency goes down. So you c......   reply
