I had a friend that was really toxic, she was the leader of our friend group, really charasmatic and easy to get along with. She's the kind of person you instantly like. i see this topic brought up especially in younger people but just remember that if there's something your friend is doing that you don't like, if you want to keep that person as your friend then you hold some responsibility in telling them what they're doing is counterproductive to your relationship with them. Not listening to them. Constantly making their problems about you. Not supporting them. Belittling them or their interests. Not showing gratitude for their efforts.
