I’m preeeetty sure we’re all in one to saying that you deserve better friends. Drop them and never talk to them again. Ever. If they don’t change, they will never experience genuine friendship in the future. They are just pure mean and assholes.   1 reply

You should tell them the truth again. That they are insensitive bitches, they are making you feel more insecure about yourself, and if they continue this terrible, sadistic, behavior youre going to end the friendship. This person scares me because it seems like they want you to do those things to yourself and that they secretly hate you.   reply

Unfriend them because if they keep treating you like a stranger and not as a friend, then maybe its time to start a new chapter of your friendship, start making friends with nice people. I have that kind of friend and people around me. I never felt so humiliated in my life all day i cry because they would shame me.   reply

Start by branching out your friend group because I also have had toxic people in my life and when I have tried to cut them off quickly while having no one (in friendship) I made the stupid decision to go back and the second time I had made sure to have a backing and when I cut them off for good, I didn’t feel like I was suffocating due to lonelin......   reply

I get your struggle. You have been friends with them for 13 years and love them but when you think of the effects this person is having on you, they are really TOXIC! It's hard to lose a friend but this person isn't one anymore and hasn't been for years. It has probably been going on for longer than you know because these things start with small, occasional insults and ramp up.
