Absolutely vile, I seriously cannot understand how people can actually make manga about Objectifying, Sexualizing & Sleeping with children. Yes when I read it, it felt gross and wrong because their intention is to made them look like children because (sadly) Japan consume pedophilia a lot and shotacon is that. I understand that it's only fiction, and in facts, I have read works with shouta content (Nakamura Asumiko's works for exemple) but no as a main theme, and of course whitout romantizing or trivializing the matter... reading Shota it's like horror content to me!   reply

It highkey gives me bad vibes, especially in 18+ doujinshi. It makes me remember that there's kids in the real world that have been through things similar to kids in 18+ shota doujin.
