The pain really isn’t that bad! I got mine a couple of years ago now, so it’s a bit hard to remember but honestly out of all my cartilage piercings, it was def the least painful. If you have a low pain tolerance then I suggest considering it some more—the same goes for if you often sleep on your side. Idk if this will be your first cartilage ......   reply

I already got 2 piercings in my ear when I was a kid and I decided to get another so that I'd have 4. But after 3 weeks, I removed the earring in my new piercings and I didn't expect that the hole would quickly close back.. and it hurts when I try to put the earring on it   1 reply

if ur gonna use hand sanitizer to clean ur ear before piercing make sure it says it has isopropyl alcohol or just anything thats antiseptic. but after that make sure not to put any alcohol near ur ear and just use saline(salt water) to clean it out. also make sure the needle is sterilized before u go and pierce ur ear! if it’s not ur ear will get......   reply

I will never pierce my ears again. My septum piercing didn't hurt that much, just a shock of pain but it wasn't throbbing like the ears (the septum was a needle and the ears were with a gun, so that's why the ears hurt more probably. Never get pierced with a gun, always go to a tattoo shop thate pierces with needles). I think the worst part is th......   1 reply

I would say it really depends from person to person. I went from single lobe piercings to an industrial so I only have 3 piercings. But I will highly recommend that you take an anti inflammatory like naproxen sodium (drug name not brand name) for a few days starting from right after you get the piercing. This will significantly lower the throbbing ......   reply
