Well, my native language is Hmong and I grew up learning English. I can understand Japanese fairly well, but can only read bits and pieces of Hiragana. I can read Korean easily, but I can only understand a few phrases.   reply

My native language is Spanish, and I'm fluent in English even though my school didn't teach me s**t. I know some Portuguese and I'm actually learning Italian. Lessons are expensive af so I've learnt only by music, movies, books and some apps.   reply

I speak Filipino and English. I could read Hangul but can't understand shit lol. I could also read and understand basic Japanese. Our school had a Chinese subject back when I was grade school. I loved copying the Chinese characters, but now I barely remember anything. Chinese characters are very difficult to remember.   2 reply
