persian/farsi is a really beautiful language too. idk, there's just smth about it that js scratches my brain. its my mother tongue but unfortunately, i wasn't able to grasp it well due to learing other languages like english and french but i still want to properly learn it.   1 reply

If you go on Youtube, there are plenty of channels for learning Thai. “Learn Thai with ThaiPod101.com has a video all about the alphabet, Lindie Botes has a video about beginner resources, and so on. And like others said, watching dramas could help, but they won’t teach you proper sentence structure. Just like how people don’t recommend learn......   reply

Thai absolutely! Then maybe Mandarin and Italian :) Def every language can be deemed beaufitul and what we're talking are purely our own impressions, but I'm surprised so many of you who answered mentioned Russian. And I don't mean it bc of political reasons. I'm just so much... on the opposite side.   reply

I'd love to learn and speak Thai but it seems really impossible (for me)... First things first, how do you feel about the tones? Thai has 5 of them. Learning how to speak would absolutely require a teacher or conversations with a native. Memorising the alphabet is probably the best step to start ;]   reply
