Spoilers for the entire manhwas ahead!!

I really enjoyed this manhwas right from the get go right until the very end of the main story. I couldn't put it down for the life of me and got really emotional throughout it, so just know that any and all critiques come from a place of love.

Let's start with our FL Lihen. She was a very well rounded and relatable character in my opinion. She was shy and introverted without seeming like a pushover, all her flaws and fears were believable in my opinion and I really enjoyed following her through the story. I could really emphasize with all of her actions ranging from her selfishness of wanting to spend time with her first love, knowing she'd leave him eventually to her deep kindness and love for the people around her. I loved how her first thought upon waking up young again was to mend her broken friendships and family bonds. There was not a single moment that I wanted her to act differently or hated her she was truly my favorite character in all this.

The ML (can't spell his name for the life of me sorry) was also a pleasant surprise. I like dthe fact that they didn't shoe horn in his affection toward Lihen. They were able to make it feel believable and even gave him character and plot outside of his romance. I enjoyed his character a lot.

The overall story was a simple one (where I sometimes didn't quite understand the timeline but that's on me tbh) but I think the executed everything in a believable pace and manner. Not every story needs two chapters explaining the political debate and magic system. The side stories and ending of this manhwa is where I have the most issues.

First off Aster. I loved the fact that it was her original soul returning to once again become her mother's child. I hated however how they had her keep her memories from her first life. It robbed the ML of the joy of actually raising her and connecting with Lihen through their shared struggles of raising her and it also left a bitter taste in my mouth how Aster never truly felt like their daughter. She herself said she wasn't their "true" child since she still had the memories of having a different father and she didn't get a happy ending in my opinion being stuck in a child's body pretending to be her mother's little kid. Additionally I hated how they established that the beginning of the story wasn't Aster's first time time traveling. It made her sacrifice the second time around seem cheap and was just overall very unnecessary. They also kept the fact that she has her past memories from Lihen and relegated her to a ditzy side character in the side stories so that the ml and aster could shine.

Then they unnecessarily added a love interest for Aster (and also a weird pedo who wasn't needed at all) who was never mentioned before. And then just when I came around to him they skipped ahead in time, never mention him again and tell us that Lihen and the ML died???? Very weird pacing and so unnecessary. They kept introducing new characters instead of just giving us slice of life content with the ones we were already aware of.

The last chapter was also a big disappointment. Centered around Lihen's second child (who wasn't needed btw I thought the whole point was taht they'd be happy with just a girl unlike her former mil?) showing someone a gallery that Lihen put together which we never saw her do?? Her hobby of painting was pushed aside to make room for the annoying Aster plot and then they try to make us emotional with that room? Very unnecessary

So all in all it was a decent story which definitely peaked with the main stories ending
saru : I'm worried about our baby girl accidentally getting one of her two hairs plucked off
