: I love how the archduke became an amazing father to his children esp. when a daughter was suddenly came into their lives & his wife just left.
1. I love the way he deals with his children. He is firm when they make a mistake but dotes on all his children. And they know it.
2. Most mangas & manhwas on children show unrealistic scenes between parents & adopted children--like over pampering scenes, dialogues like "she is so cute"... and authors think that overdoing the aegyo scenes means "love". But it's not. Its the little things. Its doing things for your family because it makes them happy even if you don't understand why---the entire "herbarium arc" was so well put together
3. The archduke also never shouts at his children. He's stoic & that may make many readers misunderstand him, but what I love most about him is how he respects his children & their individuality. There is no imposition.
4. The Arden children esp. Leticia seem to have been brought up in "free-range parenting". Unlike other mangas/manhwas where girl children have to appeal to their new parents, their family members & people of the household; just to be loved. All of the children seem to be doing their own thing.
5. I love that Leti rarely has to appeal to make herself loveable. That scene when she jumps from the balcony to show her teacher that she is quitting etiquette lesson was a magnificent stroke of genius. I fell in love with her character right at that very moment!
This manga/manhwa may not have the best art or quality but it's interesting because of Leti. Please read if you've been hesitating. Its the story of Leticia, a lovely non-conformist child :)
