What do you think happens when war breaks??? Women and many times very young teenagers feel the need to go to war too. Specially if they have any ability to help with medicine. This is a world that fucking magic exists and maxi is a mage! Doesn't matter that she's inexperienced there is an active war going on and it's getting worse! Of course she has to help. If she wasn't a noblewoman she would have probably been sent there whether she wanted to or not
