: I’m actually really enjoying how brutal Penelope is acting right now. Yes Eclis didn’t deserve that, but our girl just woke up today after trying to end her own life, which she did knowing full well and willingly. So yes, this is much better and more natural writing then if she was being sweet and kind to anyone, she has no will to live and with that cames many hars tendences, including not having empathy to spare for someone who betrayed you. Could it be said she batreyed him first? Sure. Should she care at this mental state? Absolutly not.
