: I think in this chapter we see three Lifetimes/Timelines of Ryeong and Jae encounters. The first scene is the present Jae&Ryeong then it flashbacked to their second timeline perhaps I think it maybe after Ryeong’s ascension and became like a Taoist wanderer like the present (maybe) from his outfit but since he told Jae to forget about all of it, the memories probably got push to the back of his mind or Ryeong just doesn’t remember.And the first timeline was of Ari(human/past Ryeong)when he saved Jae’s life which Present Jae witnessed as “Ryeong’s dream”. I remembered back in chapter 84-86ish Ryeong suddenly got a memory of Jae& him doing it and he thought it was strange. Just a theory I think either Ryeong or Og Jae put like a memory loss spell or sth that’s why they can’t remember their past ,well they’re discovering them now so we’ll see.
