: I think the story progression makes sense. It was established in the beginning that Jiah became pretty much a neet despite having immense potential. First she conquered her love story, now that she's stable there, it's time for her career to pick up. I'm no saying that having a calm life is bad but clearly she ran away from taking responsibility for hurting her friend, and from the crazy writers block - the first two things that were a challenge for her. Jiah story is basically facing her own fears and trying to stop running away from things as a reflex. Now that the issue is done with the friend (THANK GOD I was hoping that they'd show that the friend has been over it for a long time - it was Jiah who never moved on from that one hiccup), Jiah can go back to what she really loved. No matter what she says about it, from what we've seen, writing was actually extremely fun and fulfilling for her. So now I just wonder if it's actually her calling still.
