: I don’t particularly like the plot twist of the souls being merged. But it looks like it has always been arrie/aryka that ML fell for in the end. If you look at the chapters you’ll see half of arrie’s soul flew away and secretly got out of the bag to go back into his comatose body. The other half of arrie’s soul was still captured along with yoen’s soul right next to it. They were mistakenly put into the wrong gate and it looks more like instead of yoen becoming a mix of arrie, it feels more like yoen gave his soul to let arrie live again. So if you think about it the half soul rejoined the half in the comatose body, so now arrie has his soul 100% back, but also added onto that with yoen’s few features.
If vince thought arrie was more like yoen and feel only for that, he would’ve shown him thinking of the resemblance but he didn’t think that way. Plus arrie acted differently from yoen, they’re completely different.
