: This comic is such a breath of fresh air. It's so cute and such an easy read. I appreciate those who are uploading the chapters! I stg I can understand Isabel though, scared of being chronically ill and in chronic pain again, scared of being looked at with pity and looked down upon for her life expectancy. I feel like the author of the novel HAS to be someone who experiences chronic pain, or at least has a loved one with chronic pain. The constant feeling of missing out, the dread of being unable to eat certain things, being unable to do things that you wanted to do, being unable to experience life to the fullest. All things that those with chronic issues face, and they're something the normal person wouldn't even dream of unless they experience it either firsthand or through a loved one. So I for sure think the author experiences something, and hope they're doing well!
