: What’s weird is people wanting to see teenager smut when Byul was a whole infant in the previous series the entire time! All I see is a baby when I look at Byul and the thought of smut gives me the ICK real bad. Creator made a good call keeping this shounen-ai. I love the cozy, family dynamic thing that’s going on too. I’m the outlier here, but I do hope Hyesung and his mother can mend their relationship, for Hyesung’s sake. I was an abandoned child myself who is a kinda old (but not old) adult and keeping the hole in his heart open with the hurt, anger/hatred, and sadness is detrimental and can be life threatening.
It’s not something that you can forget, but you can move forward further and further from it. He needs to forgive her for HIMSELF. It’s not about why he shouldn’t and “oh, she should suffer cause of xyz”, because the guilt that comes with abandoning your child never goes away for the neglectful parent. They suffer 10x for their mistakes whether it’s visible or not, but us abandoned children suffer too with extreme grief and unexplainable sadness and we shouldn’t have to keep paying for our parents mistakes. Ignoring and pretending like it didn’t happen doesn’t work, because it always manifests in our actions (Example: Hyesung abandoning his own child early on in the last series).
