Maybe that reason is part of why she’s also targeting the Halo county. Money seems to be a large factor in the empress’s game, though I’m sure the politics is also significant.

: Unfortunately, this got boring quite fast for me. Without reading the comments or tags, I was not expecting this to have time regression in it. And I probably should have realized it did have regression in it from the title. But I was hoping this would be a true abandoned Saintess story -- where she leaves her empire for another, but because of what she went through she has also hardened herself and heart against getting close to any new love interests. In the meantime, the empire is starting to fail without the representative Saintess.
I had high-hopes for the story's FL -- but every other interaction has her blushing at the ML or thinking about the ML in sexy poses. She can deny all she wants, but we all know who is gonna be end game, and I'm not sticking around for it.
