: this is the first time in which i read the chapters twice bcs alot of the things happening barely make sense to me or there's a lot of missing infos for me to comprehend the "dire" situation they're in. i think if we were introduced in detail with how powerful the elders are at the beginning then i would've felt the gravity of the situation but the way Lian and that other dude (mali's partner) narrated its background it just sounded like a hush whisper in my head.
this is the type of story telling where the author doesn't give answers but leave you assuming the answer. there's a lot of explaining here but it only leads you to another question, never an answer which i'm not really a fan of. i think it's best to read this when it's finished cause that way, maybe everything will make sense by the end. anyway the only character i like here is fu rin. best girl.
