: I reread this from the beginning and I should’ve let it marinate a little longer. I love the story so much because I see myself in Maxi, a timid girl who was abused by her father :) I understand the way Maxi thinks and feels, so if anyone calls her a weak female lead, you’re wrong. It’s really hard to overcome that kind of fear and anxiety, and Maxi is doing it bit by bit. She’s far braver than you realize!
