: No hate to the author but it’s pretty obvious the author never met anyone from the states and or didn’t bother to do the bare minimum research of Asian Americans plus the west coast rap scene as a whole. It’s probably created by a Korean for the Koreans who probably never bothered to learn about other cultures so they take this comic at face value.
But then again there has always been a huge online debate about the culture appropriation of Hip Hop culture in Korea and the lack of respect/acknowledgement of Hip Hop’s cultural influence. So I can’t blame how surface level everything is about this arc lol. I mean none of us (English/International readers) here are the target audience so I’m just going to at least vent on how this arc makes me feel to the internet _:(´ཀ`」 ∠):.
