webber never knew or remembered that he saw people as dogs nor does he know that he saw the robot dog as human!! seeing him be flustered bc of how he treated dog ben would’ve been nice to see
the MAIN couple doesn’t even get together until the FINAL CHAPTER! of course we get some silly cute scenes beforehand but even the side couple had a longer relationship
ANDD tho the main couple met when they were way younger, ben never finds out!!!!!?? it would’ve been sooo much better if he had.
also the space plot felt very random, as did the beginning where james admitted himself to the mental hospital for nothing?? the story had lots of random things that went nowhere..:,
i think the author’s attempt at combining space themes, dogs, age gaps, two main couples, and sooo many other unnecessary things made the story feel compacted despite being 80 chapters long!!!
i never think this but if this story had been 18+ it at least would’ve had something going for it (though imo the art style felt a bit too cartoony to pull that off)
i hate to hate, but on a positive note, i did think james was sooo cute i loved him
