Matthew Lee : Its like nobody understood why its called ‘Never Understand’ the point of this is not to show ideal relationships but the hardships that people go through and the nuances in character. A lot of the characters can’t be called good or bad, they’re in the middle or both depending on context. If you’re looking for something light hearted of course this isn’t going to be for you but say that instead of shitting on the story. It’s well-written in the sense that it does what its meant to - which is to make you feel all sorts of emotions, serve as an outlet for the negative ones and show that morals aren’t always black and white. I keep coming back and re-reading this and have done for like 5 years and I have come to understand it more the older I get, its sad to see so many missing out or making others miss out on it, which is the only reason I’m writing this. It’s not a typical romance/bl in the way it’s written, characters are complex and each play they’re own role. This is one of the most beautiful webtoons of this genre I have ever read but I can understand it’s not for everyone. I could write a whole essay on this I just felt the need to switch up the negative comments
