: Anubis looks so shocked and shaken when he snapped Ah Li to unconsciousness with a slap. So now we know that he might be responsible for turning Mimi into a statue but he himself doesn't know how he had that power to turn people into stones since he's just a god who's governing souls and deceased + the scale of the heart. If the human stone would crumble after his touch, then why did Mimi's stone last until Ah Li found him? With memories and some of his human functions intact. Could this be someone else's— an even higher being's doing and not just Anubis alone? Maybe the one who gave petrification power to Anubis? I don't know. I just hope they will be well and happy, Anubis included.
