: Wow what a terrible ending, the author rushed everything, for the first time the protagonist choose the second ml, personally i preferred the emperor, he was far more likeable and took his time to sort his feelings for the protagonist while the mage is your typical obsessive character, no buildup nor character growth, he was bland, also it ended with too many plotholes loose, another butchered story
