: The real reason why Diana won't let go of the temple is not only because it helped her become the Crown princess but because it made her "special". She is portraying herself like a victim while she fully enjoyed the benefits of being called a "saint". She was doted on and praised by everyone. It made her feel special and superior to everyone else. She fears losing out on that superiority. Helios cannot save this marriage anymore. It's like he's babysitting a child who throws temper tantrums often. It's too one sided. Helio tries to understand Diana's beliefs and actions while Diana refuses to leave her bubble and doesn't think about others. She didn't lose her powers because she married Heli but because she stopped caring about others.
