: huh... one thing i don't like about this is how the lotus pier fall was depicted in this. maybe it's because i rewatched the donghua before this but it seemed rushed and they didn't show jc's moms character completely. or his father and the relationship he had with wwx, so it doesn't hit as hard.
which kind of sucks bc the fall of lotus pier was literally a world altering event considering what happens to WWX. i would say it's one of the most important events in the story.
that's my only gripe so far, i know it's hard to to adapt such a complicated novel into a manhua tho
