: Despite the high ratings, this was quite a boring read. I could not get over the fact that there is plenty of unnecessary dialog/thoughts and backstory explanation of every situation and every character's previous relationship with the villainess. 5+ chapters were spent with MC watching the prince cheat on her, proceeding to explain the villainess's reaction, prince's reasoning on why he's treating her in such way, how the MC is reacting differently to the same situation. The pace is very slow, too many explanations rather than letting the story unfold naturally, unnecessary thoughts (the reason every situation takes up 3+ chapters before the story starts moving again), and the fact that there is not one likeable character.
