: First and foremost she can be childfree if she wishes. I feel like that is something Dojun should've prepared himself for from the start, Dain is a career woman at heart. "Can you not treat our child as if it's an inconvenience" at this point in her life a kid would be an inconvenience, if there's anything we can learn from the world we live in today it's that not all children are gifts to their parents.
Secondly, Dojun is allowed to feel hurt by this and I even feel a little annoyed at Dain on his behalf. She completely ignored and avoided him for days despite how kind and understanding he's tried to be, everyone has their limits. I'm not particularly mad at him for avoiding her either, even if it's immature he's just matching her energy. However, I honestly don't know what sort of outcome he was expecting, did he think she would be happy to have a child? Babies quite literally change a woman's chemistry her body, her brain, basically her everything altered forever, that's not even getting into the nitty gritty. Is Dain's body even able to carry a child at this point? She's literally been starving herself for photo shoots. Just eating healthy now wouldn't fix that, all the nutrients and fats needed to handle pregnancy are missing because of her extreme diets there's a high chance she could be high risk or a birth would be harder on her body because of that.
Let's talk about "So I'll always be a risk to you" that line left a bad taste in my mouth. It's clear that Dojun wants to eventually have a child, it seems that it's been his ultimate goal, what I'm not understanding though is why he thought that would work with someone like Dain when he sees the lengths she would go too for a photo. It's just not clicking with me on what exactly he wanted from her. She said from the beginning what this was going to be and that hasn't really changed, yes, they ended up falling in love. However, they still have their separate apartments, and she was clear that her career would continue after marriage. Also that doesn't even encounter the issues of contraception. Birth control for men do exist there is such a thing as freezing sperm and getting a vasectomy or even Dain can freeze her eggs and get her tubes tied better yet they could use a surrogate, money isn't an issue so it's a completely easy and foolproof way to ensure no babies for them until they are 1000% on the same page and ready for it. There are so many ways to use birth control without abstaining and I don't know if it's Korean culture but stories seem to refuse to even think about. Babies are the end all be all and they must be carried in the bio moms body no matter what.
Last thing I wanted to mention was that I don't like Dain rejecting her dream job. I know this is supposed to be ultra romantic or something but it actually just make me mad. Why does she have to choose between her career and a man in fact the fact that Dojun is even compelling her to choose with his whole "your career is more important than me" spiel makes me upset at him. I hope the author retcons that and she gets to go to France because that's kinda stupid.
