Z3tsu39 : The criticism with our main girl is unfair to me. I have only heard the opinions from others how dumb she is and right Riftan is because she is so inexperienced. Would it not be a boring story for her to grow up the way she did and not want to finally fight for herself later on? Sure he knows more with what to expect and how life threatening the battle field can be, but she has gone out of her way to try and prove herself so much that she is capable to some capacity. She actually has been very useful to others in regards to healing and makes a difference in places that ask for her help. The only one that keeps shooting her down is Riftan. There is never a scene that stands out where he tries to explain from a loving and caring perspective to her why it bothers him, just that she needs to listen. She might not be doing it the smartest way but if she has few options because the oh so big man Riftan takes them away she is gonna be reckless because she is so inexperienced. I just don't think people call out his attitude as much as hers when it's way more understandable to me from her perspective why she tries so hard. It's unfair to him because she doesn't open up why she feels so strongly because of her past but he also doesn't try to understand her. Just gets angry and it shuts her down.
