: I just finished reading the update on I thought this was a common Isekai story and they too dumbed down one of the major scenes of the novel. Why? Those scenes as heartbreaking as they are, are what impact the rest of the novel. Our FMC being abused, her words, to see the shock on all the characters. It was all ruined and so bland. This was supposed to be the big reveal that she was never some nefarious woman, but unfortunately a puppet in her families hands. But nope. I just hope that The Broken Ring doesn’t disappoint me next.
