: Art, story, and the godamn drama are absolutely delicious (yk there’s an impending doom that is about to happen with both leads and TRUST that I’m seated). I love-love the themes that are being tackled, esp since nobility is a mess. Most of all, i love-love-love the dynamics between the fl and the ml (how they’re both burning for each other from the let-go but are constrained by their purpose). I have sm more I want to yap about from the six chapters I read but, the fl is captivating. I like that her thoughts are already intriguing (reminded me a little of the fl from Kill the Villainess, just masterpiece).

: What is the point of this when we all know how this arch is going to end since it has happened so many times in this one story? They all look for Maythan, the prince gets close to saving Maythan but the Duke comes in and saves Maythan last minute. Wolfie helps but is forgotten. Then the duke and Maythan blush and bond more and get over their past conflict. The prince and wolfie will probs get stuck with random side characters even tho they have more potential than the duke for an interesting ML
