But once their reached out a king/emperor status, caring for their people, they betray the superior creature fearing that returning their power will cause the end of what they've built. The superior creature, misunderstands and hurts by all the human, swear to take revenge by a curse/prediction that will happen at the main protagonist's time. The main protagonist either saw or came in the past to witness the betrayal so we know why the superior creature "are vilain".
