I am so SO glad they got such a talented artist to adapt a series that covers such heavy topics properly. They’re doing a fantastic job portraying the characters’ inner thoughts and emotions as well as the general tone of each scene not just through their drawings, but through their colour and lighting choices. I mean, they’re also making the reading experience so much more stressful compared to simply reading the text, but in a good way?? Like if you’re going to drive a metaphorical knife into my heart, do it right. (Also, I gave a detailed summary of the rest of this arc in an earlier post in this thread if you’re stressed and need details).
