for people that dont like akutagawa or doesnt have any clue of his backstory, tell them to read this. ive been a bsd fan since 2017 & ive had no clue about his tragic backstory since it wasnt included in the anime at all, it breaks my heart that akutagawa never had a decent childhood & he lost his humanity + emotions at a young age, i bet you he feels at fault for the 8 childrens deaths. akutagawa never had a decent life, his sister and those children seemed to be the only thing he had going for him & then they die just before they were about to have a better life, not only that but then his sister is taken away from him which means he has nothing left. its sad to think about & it really makes up for why aku is so emotionless, not to add he has a horrible sickness (pleurisy im pretty sure) & the same year his dad died. keep in mind, it seems to me aku has no family except for his sister and he lost her for 4 years. just imagine the shit hes gone through, akutagawa has never caught a break and i feel nothing but love for him. i might just be overthinking this? afterall, it is an AU. some of this couldve never happened (the middle part did) but even if it didnt he still has a tragic life.
