Wow...that was...blah. Idk why I didn't drop this, I kept reading it, waiting for it to get good and it just...never did. The characters are pretty much the equivalent of sad cardboard cutouts that have been left out in the rain. The MC was especially annoying since we see so much of her and she has 0 personality. I don't know why this is tagged as "strong female lead", she really isn't, and calling her that would be an insult to the actual strong female manga leads out there. Sure, she's not a complete weakling pushover and she has willpower sometimes (which I suppose makes her strong by shoujo romance standards lol), but she really isn't strong either, shes just normal. I honestly would have prefered weakling pushover to the max. Really, any kind of personality at all, because there was absolutely none. I couldn't name a single one of her defining traits even if you held me at gunpoint. Travis is the most developed character, but that most certainly does not make him good. I was not charmed or intrigued by him at all. I really didn't feel any kind of way about him. I didn't even react when he started doing that sus shit twoards the middle-end because I was so uninvested. All the side characters are dead ends and are only there to move the story along. I kept thinking, "Oh, maybe this character will get developed or do something!" but, nope! I was consistently let down as the author threw away all the side characters to focus on the MCs dragging out their feelings. Ugh. The plot is bare bones as well. Nothing interesting or unexpected happens, and it really becomes a sludge after the MCs start actually dating. Not much to say about the world bulding, its bare minimum just like everything else. The art is ok, definitely the best part, but it would have been waaay better if the artist had put more detail/shading into things other than the hair and eyes. Especially the MCs dresses, they take up a good amount of space on the page, but they were so flat and textureless that they were almost an eyesore. I'm really just confounded as to how this is topping the charts on Lezhin and here with such a high rating, and with tags like "interesting", "time travel" and "historical" (???). It certainly didn't help to look at the discussion board and see people screeching because others *dared* to criticize their precious webtoon while using the obnoxious saying "don't like, don't read" ¬_¬. I'm giving this a 2/5 just to be objective and fair, but I really feel like a .2 after wasting so much time on it.
