The true ending is when Taejoon said to Hyunju to "Find a black room when you reach end", from what I see the author wanted to convey was that it is okay to be a evil because doesn't mean that you are a bad person. It is okay to be a little evil and not be a people pleasure, you don't have to fit in society and make them like you. Murder was not the intent of this series.
