Kanae is so babygirl coded and relatable. My only gripe with it is that Kanae's reason for doing sex work doesn't make sense to me. A better motive would be that he was simply lonely and wanted to feel desired, which is true. But I suppose that would make him too "slutty" for some readers' taste. I understand why the author played it safe and gave him a pure motive. Giving this a very high score because of how relatable Kanae is to me and to my personality. He is (imo) one of the few well-written selfish bottoms I've seen in BL and I love that for him: 4.75/5. (2020-23).
