Adorable. Characters are lovable. Remembered tearing up for the second male lead, haha.

I love how the two are so different and yet are...surprisingly similar? I can't quite put my finger on it...but I think it's in the way that they look at their respective identities. Both Shion and Rei are isolated from their peers. Both harbor doubts over their futures/ambitions. They were able to show their most vulnerable selves when they're together, and I think that's lovely. Also, the longer I think about it, the more I find that I love Shion as a character. He's a surprisingly complex character, and it's great, because you wouldn't normally get that from effeminate male characters, especially with how he's initially portrayed as the "I want a boyfriend!" type of person. I mean, he *is* that type of person, but he's also more than that. He's idealistic and a romantic, can get whatever because of how *focused* he is on what he wants...and yet he's also a bit insecure, even lonely because of how strongly he presents himself to everyone else. Shion's a lovely character and I absolutely adore him. Introspective MCs for the win. On a side note...Does anyone have any recs for anything that's got characters like Rei? I've come to realize that he's totally my type. His lowkey autistic ass has snagged me up

Incredibly cute.

Quite cute, although I would love to see an expansion of this AU. Love the idea of a quirkless, flower shop employee Izuku Midoriya who still harbors a love for heroes. And, of course, enjoyed pro hero Shoto Todoroki.

I HAD to login and log this. Definite 5/5. It's just so, incredibly sweet. Incredibly romantic and heartwarming in the best way.

Angst x Goofy Grandpa 4 or 5 stars: I practically binge-read it. My god, it hits all of my sweet spots—childhood friends, reunification, and a goddamn happy ending. Of course, there’s some misunderstandings and a healthy dash of angst, but it fits the concept. Essentially, the MC’s childhood best friend stops by asking for him to help raise his son, and he does…until he leaves, out of guilt from his feelings. Fast forward to their fifties, and he comes back, only to discover that what he felt was still there. It plays with themes of the past vs the future, including it’s ideas on homosexuality. It’s a mix of angsty, sweet, and silly, and although the manga gets slightly messy at times, I can’t really fault it because the author did a good job establishing these characters. It ends with them getting together, though, so unfortunately you don’t see much of the aftermath. There’s a few mini-comics, though, and they’re rather sweet.
