Read to Chapter 2 Not much to say now, but I think it's promising, especially after Chapter 2. The Bullied MC x Protective Yandere ML pair didn't strike my interest at first glance, but there's something about the way that the author's been portraying the MC that makes him...noble. I understand the rationale for him willing to be a victim of people's abuse, and I can also understand why the ML can appreciate someone like him. It's interesting so far. I suppose I'll see how it'll go from here. (On a side note, Yandere reminds me a bit of Jin Kikuchihara from Yoiyoi Monologue. They're not too similar to each other, but they possess a certain...flamboyance and confidence that I can appreciate in a character.)

Author and editor pair that had a sort of romance going on when they were in high school. This one's interesting for its exploration into writers' block. Felt like the mangaka was drawing from their own experience for that. Felt vulnerable, open that way. Romance development track was essentially the editor going "I like you," as the MC struggled with his own feelings. Progression as of the current chapter's been left on a good note :)

Jesus Christ

Mad scientist revives an aquaintance who died in an alley. There were side effects. Manga explores those side effects. --- tl;dr Unique concept that further stands out with moody tone and fascinating character dynamics. Initial chapter ideas and uncertain pacing of middle chapters coalesce into slightly rushed but powerful ending. The manga is rather morbid in tone. A bit gory---lots of hijinks involving having to kill people for the mad scientist's experiments. Oh, yes. The mad scientist. He's ultimately what makes this the manga it is. He has a fascinating dynamic with the man he resurrected---he very much treats him like a toy to be played with, except, no, it's not exactly that, either. Their dynamic is truly interesting in the sense that they sort of...mesh together, rather than fall in love in the conventional sense. The resurrected man has no one; he is dead to the world. The scientist has no one, either; he's isolated himself in the name of science. So. They make do, love each other in the best sense they can until the end. I love stories like this one. I haven't finished this one yet, but I've gone through a majority of it and encountered spoilers for the ending. It's a bit rushed, but it's GOOD. It's wraps everything up well, and, I believe, is the only one that I think fits thematically.

I can't remember this one very well. Something like: A black market auctioner ends up with a slave that he was meant to sell. Wacky hijinks ensue. --- They're both kind of weird. The art's nice, though. The pairing reminds me of the pair in Sleeping Dead. I think the world's got a bit of that same vibe, too.

Finished. Rushed ending. Pick up Volume 4, past midway of part 4 to see how the manhwa starts deviating from the novel. —- On Chapter 30. tl;dr Fun series with a potentially interesting overarching plot. But for now: It's cute! Fun game mechanics! Fun character dynamics! --- It's lighthearted and fun! Jerry is frankly an adorable character, and I'm always a sucker for isekai series with a relationship favorability meter. The ML's Ilya, which is not a surprise at this point, but I can't help but prefer Karyan as a character lmao. But I suppose there's already series like Villains are Destined to Die that can fill that void...anyway, I've enjoyed the character dynamics. Jerry's interactions with both Ilya and Karyan are rather sweet, and his dynamic with his mentor's pretty fun, as well. Therems the sense of an overarching plot given his affinity with magic, as well as the intheritance fued that's oriented around the two brothers, but nothing's been set as of now. Overall, I'm having a fun time with this series right now.

As of Season 1 End (34). I practically binge-read this series. It's pretty good! I'd say the highlights was the relationship development and the backstories; I like how the sexual tension between the romantic pair developed overtime (I'm especially a sucker for the kissing as "practice" trope, very ToddWallace-esque), and I appreciate how the author had introduced Andrew's backstory over the course of the season, rather than in a big info-dump. I found the characters fun. Luke gets a bit annoying at times, but he's overall endearing (just a silly, slightly zany dude!), and the supporting cast is a good time. Andrew's the "enigma" character, a bit serious, a bit mysterious in an attractive way, but he has the backstory to explain why he is the way he is currently. It's the end of season one, but things have only really just begun. We've still got Luke still fighting his director, Andrew and his Tragic Backstory, whatever their relationship's going to be, and the way things are seemingly connecting together. Looks like things are hapepning but we're left on a cliff-hanger, LMAO. idrc, I'm still having an overall good time so far.

This manga’s such a hoot. Chapter 26 nearly broke me Cosmic Cat Scans did a really good job at translating this series (makes me reluctant for if/when the official TL comes out ;-;) -- smut tags (self-reference): squirting, cream pie, big dick, spanking, food sex, marathon sex, foot job (sort of)

The MC reminds me of the protag of “Don’t Pick up Boyfriends from the Trash Bin” (I think that was the name?). The world building gives off similar vibes Edit: No wonder I was getting webnovel vibes. The novel’s already completed, although only a few chapters have been translated in English. I like the MC. He’s certainly capable. The supporting cast is quite interesting, as well. With each new character, we get another piece of the puzzle. (New harem members, too, lmao. The actual ML seems to be the bodyguard from his past life, although right now I prefer Chan, personally.) I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Can’t wait to read more. Chapter 22

One of the best buildups I’ve ever seen, holy shit. Really compelling.
