Now that I've finished, I'm kinda at a loss for words. I feel I had to rate it 5 stars, because the story was so...natural that it kept me enraptured. I was so prepared - even saddened by the thought - that there would not to be the happy ending I envisioned, yet I was perfectly willing to just go along for the ride. There was kink, romance, angst, and sadness from a story I never would've expected to be so extensive. Honestly, probably one of the best BLs I've read. It does make me happy that the redhead got to experience some semblance of happiness, cause he genuinely was a good guy. I do kinda wish the side story continued in order to show less rapey vibes, and instead explore the deeper topics of the redhead's need to be loved.

It was cute. Wouldn't really call it "possessive lover"
