Now that I've finished, I'm kinda at a loss for words. I feel I had to rate it 5 stars, because the story was so...natural that it kept me enraptured. I was so prepared - even saddened by the thought - that there would not to be the happy ending I envisioned, yet I was perfectly willing to just go along for the ride. There was kink, romance, angst, and sadness from a story I never would've expected to be so extensive. Honestly, probably one of the best BLs I've read. It does make me happy that the redhead got to experience some semblance of happiness, cause he genuinely was a good guy. I do kinda wish the side story continued in order to show less rapey vibes, and instead explore the deeper topics of the redhead's need to be loved.

This shit was mad camp lol But the art was far too good, like really good. The contrast of the characters' initial appearance to their true nature was cool too. The translation was a bit wonky, but I've seen worse. I appreciate the scanners for uncensoring it, but damn that translation...

I'll admit, the story progression can seem a bit odd at times, yet somehow they add just enough info and nonchalance to make it work. Anything that might seem a little strange is pretty easily waived with just how well the story progresses That aside, it's pretty hot to see how both MC and ML have struggles that make sense and how they come together in spite of them. Ch.80

I expected it to be bad, not boring. That was really its only crime.
