3.5 stars, making thanks to the gorgeous art and character design Smut 5* Story 3* Art 5* This story has so much potential. The art is so gorgeous the character designs are so hot but the store is just there. It exists. And that's it. With this kind of art style, it would have been amazing for some action scenes but what we get is like a little bit of daily lives with the priests and his adopted half vampire son and then they run into a little trouble with a traveling vampire another priest accidentally get turned into a vampire but it all but gets resolved pretty quickly and without much fuss. The ending was very anticlimactic.

Ch4 Bi uke (omg a unicorn has appeared!) cop who only does one night stands is trying to solve a murder case while also trying to find out something about the death (murder?) of a close friend. Sleeps with a virgin hottie and then can't actually keep it to just one night. But this fella may not actually be the sweet puppy he seems. You're blind if that huge back tattoo didn't make sirens go off in your head lol. Cop's dead friend is seme's brother's lover cuz storytelling logic.

Airheaded but harmless himbo/walking disaster magnet x huge (in various ways) bestie who's totally not a Yakuza God Kaname is so hot. Gotta love a man who will take care of you with no expectations in return, who will clean up all your messes, who will love you despite your lack of critical thinking skills and who will rearrange your guts with his big schlong on the regular :') I love Meguru too. He's an idiot but he tries hard. You can see he's earnest and well meaning. He didn't just want to be Kaname's kept pet (even though that's all he should be doing since he can't really do much else lol). And he's plain adorable.

Ch17 Idk, singing about the pacing is off? It feels like nothing is happening but things actually do happen and the plot progresses but idk it feels the opposite lol. I guess I'm just bored by it?

Dub-con but in that consensual way BLs like to spin it. Beautiful day with pretty character designs. Interesting concept that you never see in BL. It works really well for the short format but kinda disappointed the pretty character designs couldn't be a part of a longer story.
