Ch97 I hate the bounty back and forth between the main and sub couples. Probably didn't help that I have no shits about the sub couple lol. Author was great at drawing super intense and sexy smut but storyline needed more work. Also the DID thing was so inaccurate. I think their concept would have worked better as a supernatural phenomenon. It had the same believability lol.

Ch4 OMG, another rare non-toxic omegaverse couple! So the plot goes.... Grandma: You need to get married and crack out alpha babies cuz omegaverse Yakuza are backwards and only follow alphas. Big, alpha looking "beta" bff/enforcer: That sucks for ya buddy.

Dropped at ch2. Taking advantage of someone's amnesia to manipulate them into thinking that you guys are a couple and making an oblivious straight guy have gay sex with you under the premise that you are a couple is rape. And I do not like the fact that it is presented as seme's angsty thing he has to endure.

Ch6 Considerate seme trying to remain chaste with his overly eager & horny bf cuz he got a monster in his pants that will annihilate that tiny bussy till kingdom cum. I was expecting pwp but it's actually very sweet and wholesome and made me cry at some parts.

4 stars. Childhood besties. Haruto is a golden child. Shun is the opposite. For some reason, Haruto is in love with Shun. Shun wants to remain friends as he doesn’t feel he’s good enough for Haruto but can’t help feeling territorial over Haruto’s friendship with his (Haruto’s) former tutor/their current student teacher. I really like the art style. The comedy is really good.. I like how Haruto lasted 2 seconds when they had sex for the first time. I mean, he’s not good at sports & the most exercise he gets is running away from a serious conversation - of course he would lack the stamina for anything more than 2 pumps lololol. It was a realistic (and funny) part of the story. Also, Teacher Kido is a funny character. He’s set up in a way to make all your alarm bells go off. And he’s the type of person who would be really infuriating to be around lol but I did enjoy his character. I wish the resolution was more drawn out. They reconciled, immediately fucked, and were back in la la love land the next day. The ending would be better improved by exploring Shun getting over his insecurities, jealousy and inferiority complex. And while Haruto does have some bad traits, they're not as bad as Shun so in contrast, his character comes off like an angel at times. I mean, his only bad traits seem to be that he's a cry baby and likes hanging out with a sus adult. We really got only 1 chapter that focused on him and it didn't tell us much beyond that. Wish the mangaka explored more of him coming to terms with his sexuality and how isolated he felt (although that was mainly due to Shun distancing himself due to jealousy).

4.5 stars. I think what's preventing me from giving it a full five stars is that the story is set up to make you feel a little bit more sympathy for Hiro rather than Sei, who actually got the shit end of the stick in life. And I actually do like both of the characters a lot. But since this is told from Hiro's perspective, we get a lot of more insight into why he does some of the dumb things he does. Whereas with Sei, there's a lot more guessing involved and a lot of distance between the readers and his characters because we can only view him through what Hiro nose and he doesn't really know much. I love the art and character designs. This is one of the rare instances where the cover art isn't nearly as pretty as the art on the inside. They can be so beautiful at times. The sex scenes are hot and sensual and intimate at times. I also love the way the story is told. The author is more concerned about feelings rather than up by the book sequence of events. So if it feels very dreamy and at times it feels like things happen very abruptly but it also makes the emotional parts of the story very impactful. I love the chibi. They're drawn in a very cartoon style rather than a cute style. And they really reflect Hiro's immaturity. Both of the characters are flawed but likable. Hiro is very dumb when it comes to trying to convince his childhood crush to date him. He fumbles so much and makes so many mistakes but you can see that his heart is in the right place. He's depicted as the weaker of the two characters so a lot of his decisions make a lot of sense. He tries but then gets run over all the time because Sei just has a stronger personality and doesn't care about his opinion. I feel so bad for Sei. From the little bits and pieces we learn from Hiro's perspective, it seems he has had a rough life ever since he was a child and he spent most of his young life being taken advantage of by men to the point where he's so cynical and jaded in this prevents him from accepting Hiro back into his life. BTW, if a child initiates or imitates a sexual acts, that usually means they've been assaulted by someone older (Sei's older brother's friend in this case) it's really unfortunate that Sei repeated that action to Hiro. And then it seems he starts sleeping with older men in high school. Rather than money he was looking for praise which is so sad. And by the time he reunites with Hiro, he's already done with romantic relationships.

Ch5 - dropping here cuz wtf MC is basic looking AF and he's got an ugly 90s hair cut to boot but that's not even the worst part of this manga. Ch3 TRIGGER WARNING ️ ML, sick with fever, dreams about being raped as a child (by his older brother?) and when he wakes, MC does the same exact act to him. Also, we find out in ch4 that MC, a child himself at the time (understandable) witnessed ML's rapes BUT still chose to initiate sex with ML in similar style as the rapist (wtf man). Ch5 bro almost killed uke in a "If I can't be with you, nobody can!" rage WHILE they're having sex WTF
