There's no build up to MC catching feelings so it seems to come out of nowhere other than his neediness (from being strung along by a manipulative, abusive partner). Ch32 - how did the priest completely forget that he could summon his progeny until one of his underlings mentioned it? Also, the fact that the two guys who are strangers at this point are just in their buttons ups during dinner? I'm usually not a stickler for historical accuracy. I don't know why the inaccuracies in this story are very distracting.
