HOLY SHIITTTTT like of course I know this was gonna be dark because it's Harada's work after all but I didn't imagine that the seme would be soooo fucked up. To sum it up, the seme is manipulative and obsessed with uke. He's one of the most fucked up characters I know, being able to act like a good person to manipulate. I had doubted him actually in the early chapters but I was still stupefied when he turned out to be THAT dark. He's on another level of a yandere. Riku, too, is one fucked up character as well (I relate to him tbh I like stirring up drama for other people because I find it fun). It's not the first time I read something this dark but it surely left a mark on me. I'm also glad Shou has became wary of Fuku because had it been another uke, they would've probably gave in to their abusive seme and mistake their fear for love. Uke is not like that at all. He didn't even say he likes him or anything that expresses his love for Fuku (he only hates him and also probably pity because he's a kind character although he tends to get physical). Impressive book!

Nii-chan (harada)

Complete | Harada | 2013 released

I told myself I wouldn't read this because I ABHOR SHOTACON but this was really written well. It's very dark, yet it's also realistic (men molesting on children because they were also molested when they were younger). However, this was even more twisted because Yui 'fell in love' and forgave his perpetrator that he even had a happy ending with him. A witness, who was Mai, could've reported this but she didn't and tolerated Yui's feelings towards his molester (Mai was also a twisted character, I should say). Yui's parents are really...sigh. Their families care more about their image more than their children and I found that really annoying. I don't feel happy that the pedo wasn't arrested, and I am not fully convinced of their romantic feelings towards each other (because it's really fucking twisted). I wish Yui and Kei had received REAL treatment. But anyway, I really liked how fucked up this is.

Hikizuru Oto

Complete | harada | 2015 released

whew so the seme is manipulative (as typical in Harada's works). He rides on his childhood friend's guilt and trauma from 'not being able to protect him' from that car accident that cost his leg. The uke panics whenever he worries for seme and the seme is enjoying that. He knows uke will never forgive himself until seme says what happened wasn't uke's fault but of course because he's fucked up, he doesn't. I'm rating this 4 4star because I wanted uke to somehow wake up or smth but ofc I know traumas are shit

Itou-san (KURAKA Sui)

Complete | KURAKA Sui | 2015 released

literally apathetic assassin gets involved with a prostitute. there are disturbing scenes like rape but I'm surprised I find them light compared to other yaoi scenes I have read. I thought seme was going to be a sadists or an asshole but he's actually one of the most caring seme ever. I'm glad Itou was freed by his former boss and also Kyousuke and they got their happy ending

Hogu Hagyeongsu

Complete | im-aeju | 2016 released

yoooo this is so fucked up uke has been put through a lot. seme's family are crazy people just like him. uke's brother was hot (i simped on him ngl I'm so sorry I want to fuvking kill him at the same time) but he raped uke and fucking abused his body A LOT and their sister was caring but passive with what the fuck they were doing it was so twisted asf it's like it's been normalized in the story that whoever seme likes, his brother would fuck with it as wellit has a lot of rape scenes that I just wanted uke to die in some chapters because it was too hurtful seeing him suffer like that. seme is really evil- abusive and manipulative, has a habit of 'destroying things he like' so he lets his friends rape uke and torment him again after finding him years later he indeed needs to go to the mental hospital bruh and uke accepting that he'll never be happy is just so fucking sad. this is one hell of a manhwa and it fucked up my mind

Yajirushi

Complete | Harada | 2015 released

I read too much dark shit that I predicted most of them coming. They are sick and twisted what the fuck but I like the last couple because they were funny.

Kyoushitsu no Yugami

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

I love Harada but I hate shota...Nii-chan was shota too but that was quite brilliant and more impressive unlike this one...

Yugami Hajime

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

Sayonara, Boku no Goshujin-sama

Complete | Takase Roku,Tachibana Mizuki | 2000 released

I liked this one. I was already sure I was going to rate it 4 stars because a)"Who tf does seme think he is, confining the uke like that" though I already had an idea that time why he did that (and I was right! he was also an ex of that asshole who neglected uke) b) I thought seme's actions are just because of what he experienced from their ex. He is obsessive, right? He would've taken the ex back from the uke but changes his mind and decides to take the uke instead. I'm really glad that I didn't see some things coming, like the one where uke stands up for seme against their ex, because I actually thought he was going to be like those other stupid ukes who chooses their abusive ex over their better lover in the present (although tbh at that time I didn't want uke to end up with either of them) so I'm really a bit happy, plus also resolution part where they both promised they will start to change. This was kinda short for me but it's great. It's rare to find psychological yaoi stories that end up with a happy and healthy ending.

Netsuai (NAONO Bohra)

Complete | NAONO Bohra | 2017 released

oh bruh...I kinda disliked the first story. Not because they're stepbros- I'm fine with incest stepsiblings but the love is kinda twisted, especially the seme's. He said so himself that he faked everything. Uke was just a possession to him and that shit pisses me off fuck you btch gah I hate it when people take advantage of weak ones I'm so sleepy while typing this so I just wanna say it's meh. I do feel bad for uke tho I hate his original fam for ignoring him. Kinda reminds me of Harada's style a bit. For the 2nd story, well that was quite interesting. I'm not fond of age gaps like middle-aged x young adults but it wasn't that bad. It was just...um..rushed? At least that's how I feel about it.
