I read too much dark shit that I predicted most of them coming. They are sick and twisted what the fuck but I like the last couple because they were funny.

Sayonara, Boku no Goshujin-sama

Complete | Takase Roku,Tachibana Mizuki | 2000 released

I liked this one. I was already sure I was going to rate it 4 stars because a)"Who tf does seme think he is, confining the uke like that" though I already had an idea that time why he did that (and I was right! he was also an ex of that asshole who neglected uke) b) I thought seme's actions are just because of what he experienced from their ex. He is obsessive, right? He would've taken the ex back from the uke but changes his mind and decides to take the uke instead. I'm really glad that I didn't see some things coming, like the one where uke stands up for seme against their ex, because I actually thought he was going to be like those other stupid ukes who chooses their abusive ex over their better lover in the present (although tbh at that time I didn't want uke to end up with either of them) so I'm really a bit happy, plus also resolution part where they both promised they will start to change. This was kinda short for me but it's great. It's rare to find psychological yaoi stories that end up with a happy and healthy ending.

Crash Into Me

Complete | Re-run | 2019 released

I was really, REALLY gonna rate this 5-stars because I sooooooooo love the art!!! The characters, esp the seme was so attractive the couple was really well-drawn! But the plot...idk. At first, it was interesting. But things went downhill in Season 2. I don't know, I just...think it would've more impact to me if they were longer. They feel a bit rushed for me. I really wanted to see Taehyuk's face, and I wanted uke to overcome his trauma of the ocean. He hasn't told the seme about his su*cide attempt and I think it would've been better if he did, even if it was in a timeskip because I know it's not that easy to tell someone things like that. I really expected more drama but there were more smuts and I actually had to skip them altho they were consensual. And that Jihyuk. Fuck him. He deserves the jail. The rape scenes almost made me throw up goddamit. Again, I really wanted to rate this 5-stars but...idk if only it was more...emphasized? Like the uke visiting Taehyuk's grave again and say something about forgiveness. I know I shouldn't be saying this, because ithe author really worked hard but it's my opinion anyway. Though, I'm happy the characters had their happy ending. And this is one of my favorites in terms of art!

Shounen No Kyoukai

Complete | akabeko | 2016 released

AW BOI I shed tears on this one. This was really heavy. It shows the struggles of alphas and omegas with their instincts. Kaoru had to pair with Yuka to protect him but he felt bad for that. I won't say I didn't dislike that because Yuka was raped, but it was the best outcome that could've happened then. We could see how Kaoru tried to hold himself back to the point he started to bleed. I feel bad for Yuka, being all alone after that. It feels scary. Of course I also feel bad for Kaoru. He's really a kind alpha. I salute him for the job he made. I thought he was gonna be some clumsy ass alpha but he really turned to be a DADDY. Like total hot man. I love how he remained faithful to Yuka although his fated partner appeared before him. Taiga. I hated this mf but he did redeem himself. He changed himself and I'm happy for him. I kinda feel bad too because it must hurt to endure the pain of seeing your fated pair already taken oh bro that shit hurt but just like he said, if he hadn't done that to Yuka back then, then maybe he would've had a chance. Instincts are really the true antagonists in this. And Rin...aw boi aw man I feel soooo bad for him. At first I disliked him because he acted real slutty to me but I realized his situation. It must be really shitty to be an omega in a society like that, not accepting omega for any jobs because of their irresistible pheromones. I felt sad and angry at him at the same time when he found out Kaoru is his pair because of his actions, but it was instincts. I'm glad Taiga paired with him. But that part where Rin remembers that he's already mated with Taiga after seeing the bite mark on his neck and then when he woke up Rin asks him who he was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BITCH I'm weak asf at those kinds of shit T_T they were going to make a baby after 3 months but because of the side effect AAAAAAAAAAA I wanted to see their kid bruh T_T FUCK THOSE INSTINCTS FUCK THOSE PILLS but I'm glad that ending was written well. A healthy and happy future awaits them.

Akuma To Keiyaku (haru)

Complete | Haru | 2016 released

can I just say THIS WAS SO HOTTTTTTTT T_T and yeah sweet and cute af tho it does have dark tones (obsessed fan, rape, that creepy old geezer, ) I feel a love-hate feeling towards seme, maybe just like how uke feels. He's a jerk but he's also nice. I hate how seme really raped uke because I really, really wanted him not to. I wanted him to snap out of it before he does it but it was too late...sigh. He's still dwelling over that, apparent in the last chapters and I hope it was more addressed. Uke was clearly traumatized by that, and I even thought at one point "Maybe he brushed that off so his shot as actor is guaranteed. seme is his key to fame after all" lol I know that was really a cynical thought but I changed my mind guys lol uke, though. grrr he's a fool for forgiving seme that easily after 'that' but it's his choice. He even vowed to protect him and wished he would be with him forever T_T bruh im- ok I'm loveless. This was really drawn well awww I would've liked it better if there were less plot holes. But anw I love this soooo <3

Dark Heaven

Complete | Juns | 2016 released

oh god. this was definitely one of the heaviest story I have ever come across I can even put in the same level as Killing Stalking. Knew it was gonna be heavy and psychologically depressing, since that's what everyone who read it said before I did, but holy shit...the amount of courage this author has to address all those controversial issues in a manhwa. Since the first chapter, you'll know right away it's gonna be something really dark. I even told myself, "Ah, I have to read 80 chapters of this trauma?" I was even scared to read it first because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take it. So let's talk about the issues discussed in this book. I think almost every fucked up issue on this planet about humanity has been demonstrated I'm so awed. Racism, rape, drug abuse, homophobia, exploitation, domestic and child abuse, police incompetence, abuse of power, murder, the hypocrisy of religion...like holy shit I bet Juns received hate for being this brave. She managed to put all of that in this story like wow. I'm so impressed. And that Veronica bitch. I agree with Simon btw ever since I saw her I knew she was fucked up. BUT SHE WAS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. She was worst wtfff she was mentally ill, though. When her eye twitched I went bananas it was fucking creepy, but like other fucked up people she also had a terrible child that made her become like that. She deserved treatment, but ngl I'm glad she died f that bitch she made my babies suffer so much T_T And Gale...aw man I think I need help. Like, I disliked him when he first appeared ofc because what a fucking piece of shit of a brother but I can't help but like him too. Like the detectives said, it was hard to know what's on his mind, because he's fucked up and all that...but I kinda do, I just dunno how to explain it. He claims to hate his brother, and I do believe that, but not as much as he claims. He only disliked Simon bcs Simon resembles their father in terms of facial features, and we all know that the father is fucking shit too, raping a child...geez I hate pedos so much I wanna skin them alive. Simon has been kind to him (until they grew up ofc because Simon was blinded by his desire for revenge for Conor). I also believe the father's dead and my best theory would be Gale murdering him, it was implied by the symbol of a knife stabbed on him in the family photo, but could be anywhere else too. Dead, I hope. And Mona uwu best lady!! This supportive woman deserves happiness as well, being there for Conor and Simon ever since. She's different from all those hypocrites. I'm glad she found herself a lady too uwu. And ofc our couple, Simon and Connor! Aw man they definitely went through so much. It hurt. They were only loving each other, but had to suffer so much just because of the society they're in. I'm glad the world we currently live in is more open to homosexuality now. I'm glad they are happy!! They definitely deserve it!! Though I wanted to see them together with their adopted child! T_T If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. The amount of drama feels overwhelming but author has this style of making the ambience lighter (esp chibi art lol) and adds a touch of comedy sometimes but it doesn't ruin the dramatic mood. I love the art style ofc!! And how poetic this was..oh God the metaphors don't even get me started. This is prob the longest review I made xD I have more to say but I read this for 5 hours straight and my head's starting to ache but I LOVE IT!! It's a masterpiece, especially for a debut manhwa.

Boku o Warui Ko ni Shite

Complete | HAIDA Nanako | 2017 released

uke is a masochist lolol the early chapters really weirded me out :/ seme thinks uke and he are alike because of their bruises, then uke tells him to keep it a secret but seme blackmails him and rapes him and stops in abruptly and then uke falls for him dafq lol ok I did like him a bit when he comforted uke when uke was frightened by the loud sounds. uke is stupid imo like yeah smart in school but stupid with his feelings but maybe living with an abusive parent made him like that? Touma too. I sympathize with their abusive past but it still doesn't excuse seme's actions (he did repent but stilllll) I was gonna rate this lower but I did see that they fell genuinely in love. I like seme's foster father he kind af I thought it was gonna be darker at first because of what seme said but it turns out it was his stupid secretary who fabricated shit ://// there were times I felt like it was abrupt or rushed but it turned out okay. Beautiful art. And yes, uke doesn't admit it but he's obviously an m, not minding if seme 'ties him down' lmaooo
