Ch 23 (read on reaperscans or bato for better translation) but woooow an morally grey FL who actually is doing the revenge as cruel as she said she would. Usually I get annoyed with revenge stories when the revenge isn’t satisfying qnd the FL ends up being too soft hearted but this FL is so good, she recognizes her revenge is evil and morally wrong but she doesn’t care, or more like she’s indifferent to it bc she is just focused on revenge. And so far I am very much satisfied with her revenge and I really can’t wait for more…one thing tho, WHY THEY MAKE THE DAD LOOK SO YOUJG DAMN, he looks younger than both ML candidates…and if I may…he’s hotter than them too hehehe

Ch 36, bro this is soooo fucking good! Definitely one of the most satisfying revenge stories I’ve ever seen. The FL is a logically cold hearted badass with her eye on revenge as she should, and the ML is sooo cute, he’s so funny and so devoted to our FL. Both leads remember their past leads so that’s an unique twist. The comedy between the ML and her brothers/father is so funny. The art is so top tier, the plot is top tier, the characters are top tier…the only thing that annoyed me was how long it took the ML to meet the FL, it took the whole 36 chs and even when they met, girlie was passed out so but hopefully season 2 doesn’t take long to come out bc I’m so invested In this story

Ch 21, this is a rough read not bc it’s bad but damn it is fustrating. Our FL Is smart and badass but bc of society standards sucking she can’t do anything herself and has to rely on her husband. And Ik he’s gonna go through character development but I still don’t really like him after I saw his hypocrisy come to light. Bc if he was like everyone else who just hated her outwardly that would’ve been better than someone who pretended to be by the FL’s side but inside he looked down on her ugh. Hypocritical bastard. Ik he’ll change but damn. Tbh the red head rival guy who showed up once I feel like he’s probably the better choice for our FL, if he is the second male lead that’s gonna hit hard

Ch 38 (https://arenascans.net/manga/i-will-fall-with-the-emperor/) ngl the translations aren’t the best but it’s readable ig. Overall I like the FL a lot, a badass villainess. The only other two characters I like is the 3rd concubine and Sang, the FL’s butler. Tbh I wish he was the ML instead bc damn the emperor is so shit man. I hate him, idk how the author will redeem him, they probabaly won’t but to me he’s so unlikable. And tbh I like the FL and all but that one time when he almost assaulted her and thinking back on it she blushed and thought he was gentle..LIKE BITCH WTF. GENTLE??? Ugh. She musta lost her damn mind there for a second. Anywayssss I’m just waiting for her to get revenge on her family now, honestly I feel like this is one of those stories where I’m more interested in seeing how it ends then actually being him for the journey buttt we’ll seee

Ch 20.3 completed. Whoa wtf this is the most satisfying revenge I’ve ever seen in a story. They really did not hold back at all. All the abusers got the worse torture as revenge and I like how it wasn’t just a quick death. And I’m surprised for once the author didn’t redeem the abusers with the “oh but they were brainwashed”, they still got the karma they deserved. I think the brainwash troupe is such weak sauce bc even tho you may not have been aware of your actions it didn’t mean the victim is obligated to forgive you bc it doesn’t erase the pain they went through. And that’s valid their trauma is still there. So damn wow this story was so satisfying. It was sad to see the FL get broken, but I mean she’s happy now sooo I guess it’s fine. The main couple are both crazy and insane yanderes so it makes for quite the fun ride,

Ch 81, ending felt kinda abrupt but it was a good one! I really did like the OP MC and it was a good read overall. It was suspenseful where I was still second guessing what could happen. Some parts felt a little rigid but overall the flow was good. The only complaint, well actually two, was one the romance part did feel a bit forced, like I knew the MC and princess were gonna be paired up together but they really just had no chemistry and barely any scenes together so when he finally proposed to her after being away from 8 years i was kinda like huhhhh. And the second is I kinda wish we could’ve seen the 5th prince’s last words when he realized he had it all in his first life and then stupidly tossed it away. Like I’m sure the regret he felt was immensurable but knowing his personality he probabaly would’ve made the same choice every time. So yea even with his sob story of boohoo my dad never cared about me when I was young I didn’t really feel that bad for him. The woe is me was strong for him. And I guess another smal thing that kinda wish we knew more about was what the hell the MC did during the 8 years he was away. I know it a small detail but I wish they could’ve at least mentioned what the hell he was up to on those & years he was gone. Bc he mentions some of the places he’s revealed to while talking to the princess but when he was telling his mom and friends why he was leaving he made it seem like he had a bigger mission at hand and not just traveling for fun so I wish we got some insight into it. Oh well, overall a really good action Manhwa read

Ch 23, ok this is amazing! Our little girlie is soo smart! And good on her. Yes it’s an 8 year old having the brains most adults wouldn’t have buttt let’s just go with the flow. I’m really intrigued to see the ML’s POV. Does he remember the past? And if he does how will their first interaction be? We haven’t seen him yet but I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for him. Tbh there’s something about this troupe of nobles fighting for power/ having a death match within the family that’s so intriguing. I guess it’s the mind games and Pyschological aspect that just so suspenseful to read. Call it the Roxana influence. But I read hope to see more of this genre
