ch 27.2, sooo this story started off really good but it went downhill and fast. It’s awful man. The FL is your typical Mary Sue no matter how she tries to convince herself other wise, she’s a pushover that lets herself gets pushed into things she doesn’t want to do and then let ppl talk shit and trample all over her….even tho she has the power to shut it down bc she’s a Duke’s daughter for heaven’s sake. At this point I feel like ppl just talk shit about her bc they know she don’t do anything about it. And then she had all those stupid inner monologues talking about how she’s so determined and headstrong when in reality she’s the biggest pushover ever. Like the beauty contest arc was so pointless. It could’ve all been avoided if she could have just put her foot down and said no. And the fact we’re up to ch 27, and the og FL still hasn’t shown up yet. The romance is also at snail’s pace, lke I get the FL and Keith have a very healthy friendship/relationship but damn we get no development over here. And apparently the sus girl Sarah has no reprucssions huh. I’m surprised no one suspected her after she didn’t show up to help the FL with her makeup even tho she promised to. And apparntly according to spoilers everyone just drops the issue with the torn up dress and doesn’t bother to even investigate to find the culprit. Apparntly there’s no ending either as the author kinda dropped this novel to work on other things. So I guess we’ll never know how it ends. But really what a disappointing story

Ch 10, couldn’t make it past this ch, the writing is so cringey and the art makes them look like bugs. The FL isn’t anything special, a typical airhead Mary Sue and everyone else in the story is unlikabke. Well I guess except for the ML but like he seems to have no personality aside from just following the FL everywhere so ugh. Yea this story is not my cup of tea

I don’t exactly remember but I believe I dropped this bc the ML is so mean to the FL for no reason and wtf the FL doing blushing and calling him sweet when all he did was carry her once…did she forget how he says he’s gonna kill her eveeyday…

Ch 10, yeah I went into this with an open mind but it fell short for me, first the art is kinda wonky but I could’ve overlooked that if the plot was good. Like mans literally looks like a child and judging by the cover he’s the ML…which is ew. Anyways but the plot is stupid too, the FL suddenly believes the ML is soooo nice when like why…he literally showed up when you friend turned up dead, so idk why she’s not suspicious of him…and 2 he literally forced the contract on you…but “he’s so nice” right. Cant stand this “oh I’m so nice so I don’t have a single brain cell” FLs, dumb as fuck. Dropped
The Villainess's Road to Revenge
Ch 42, I was intrigued at first but then the plot got so convoluted it went to shit. I was really interested in the revenge portion of this story where I hoped to see the FL get revenge on her shitty stepsister and stepmom…but then the author introduced a whole other arc with like a real life chess life or death game and I was just like wtf is even happening. And then a knight competition arc happened that too way toooo long and by that point I was like what is even happening??? When are we gonna get back to the revenge?? So yea we never really did and so the story got disappointing for me real quick. Even after reading spoilers bc there was no way I felt like I cared enough to keep up with this story, i really just wanted to know if the revenge was satisfying and eh…it really didn’t seem to be that satisfying. The step mom and sister just die…but I’d rather they have lived and faced a life of hardship again, being that the blond stupid stepsister cared so much about luxury and hated commoners while being one herself,exile and force her back to the slums and see how that bitch lives. I’d rather that kind of revenge than just death so yea. But I heard the step sister gets tortured in hell…shame we couldn’t see it tho.

Ch 20, idk I’m ngl I had high hopes for this story coz the art is so beautiful but damn the story is disappointing to me. The ML’s a cheater and player and the FL allows him to be. Tbh I was actually on her side bc it seemed she wanted him to cheat so she could easily divorce him later…but then during the dirty tango scene and she’s all blushy blushy towards him…I was like girl wtf why??? One would think that from her first timeline trauma where she got a lifelong STD that made her infertile from her cheater manwhore husband that she would be disgusted to sleep with another guy who’s been with mult women…but she seems to take it just fine…which is strange bc like where did all her trauma go?? How can you see yourself blushing and falling for a guy who was a cheater player just like your first husband who ruined your life with his indefility?? So weird and inconsistent character design on her part. And tbh while I can appreciate the ML is self aware and knows he’s trash for being a cheater and player….he doesn’t seem to regret it or try to ask the FL for forgiveness. It’s just kinda he just accepts it as an oppsie whoppsie and moves on. If anything I’d wish she’d have more of a disgusted reaction when they had to sleep together bc then maybe he’d understand the weigh of his actions. And idk it just seems the author is trying to brush his cheating past under the rug now that they’re married and that doesn’t sit right for me. He should have at least begged her for forgiveness, but whatever I guess. Idk maybe I’ll pick this story up again and see it in a different light but rn it’s disappointing

Ch 42, so I read till the end but damn this story sucked. I can tell the story got axed bc literally the whole story and climax happened in two chs and all of a sudden it was the end. The confession literally happened in like two panels. There’s so many unanswered questions, like does the war break out? Was the ogFL actually evil? Will the grey hair guy stop being a simp and live for himself? I guess we’ll never know. And I couldn’t we root for the FL coz she’s so dumb. She literally knows the storyline and has the OP power of memory reading…so I feel like preventing the war from breaking out shouldn’t be tooo hard right. But no if anything she actively contributes to the war breaking out. She helps the two ppl she knows will start the war. Oh why not just give the guy you know will start the war, confidential documents that could change everything. Yes so smart putting your trust in him when you know he’s a brainless simp who’ll start a war for a girl who just uses him anyways. And not to mention some events in this story were just so absurd and unbelievable. So you’re telling me that the ML knew the FL could read ppl’s memories? Like how tf did he find that out? “Oh there were signs” what signs tf.? How could any “signs” be enough evidence for you to know she could read ppl’s memories. And not only that he also knew for some reason that she couldn’t read his memeories?? And not only that he knew the reason why she couldn’t read his memories…bc she was afraid to? Wtf? All these leaps, for some reason the author makes it seem so Normal he’s able to jump to these conclusions. It makes no sense. And don’t even get me started on the emperor. Mofo is dumb as hell too. why tf would an emperor, in front of everyone at a ball, ask a little naive noble girl for political advice on what to do with a foreign prisoner?? And then not only that, he takes her advice and everyone is just like ok cool. What kind of emperor is he?? This whole story is just absurd.

Ch 2, sooo I had really high hopes for this, like wow the FL goes back in time and decides to be an actual villainess??? But it’s not like that axtually, she just becomes nice and drops her spoiled girl act from the last timeline. I also can’t like the ML, everyone saying it’s okay he dropped the FL in the first timeline bc she was a spoiled brat…and while I get that would make sense for him not to like her…but on the FL’s side how could she fall in love with someone again who she knew dropped her in the first timeline. Not to mention that he and everyone also knew she was sent to a Brothal instead of the monstary and they were all just cool with it. And even in the 2nd timeline according to spoilers, he just think the white lotus sister and the FL fighting is just a fun game. Like how stupid, I’m so tired of FL’s falling in love with the same person who ruined them in their first life. Like Idc how much of a bitch I was in my first life, even if it’s understandable he threw me away bc I was a bitch, I wouldn’t be able to forgive that once I changed in my second timeline. Like that just ruins the whole story for me

Ch 29, idk mannn this is a rough read. The romance feels really weird since they met when he was 11 and she practically raised him as a guardian. Like imagine…she picked tutors for her husband….like bro that’s something a parent would do for their kid. And you did that for your husband. And the ML acts like a bratty child too. Sure he cares for her more than anymore else, but even as an adult he’s not someone she can depend on. Half of this story is him just crying, whining, throwing tantrums and running to her. The other half is him lamenting that he’s weak and can’t protect her…all while being the reason she’s in danger half the time. Like man he feels no different from his child self. He’s still immature, weak and not capable. And she fell for him…? Like I get she only fell for him bc he was the only one who really cares about her but like damn sis you saw him as a whole child. And on his end he only felll in love with her bc timing, she just happened to be the first one to ever be nice to him. So here we go. Even their first night scene had me like…ew…idk man. Like I’m intrigued to know more about the plot like who is the evil master mind behind everything…but it does kinda annoy me how forgiving she was for someone who betrayed her, so rn I’m still thinking that she might be kind to this other betrayed too, idk man but I hope have high hopes for this story
