Ch 24 complete…this took a very dark turn in the last 2 chs…obsession is never pretty, and this is a very realistic depiction on why yanderes and obsessive love should not be glamorized. It’s toxic, and harmful…sure this took an extreme form of it, but most times yanderes are emotional abusers. But damn this story was heavy. Everyone was obsessed in their own ways, they all needed therapy and they all had issues. Damn.

Ch80 complete, Another cute CEO simp ML, we love those!! I feel so bad for the 2nd ML tho…she still hasn’t formally rejected him….anyways and the FL kinda annoys me too with her pushover energy, like stop letting that coworker boss you around geez, grow a spine will ya. I’m glad this ended up on a good note and the bitchass coworker finally has what’s coming to her

Ch 78 complete… so now that this is completed…I mean this was a really realistic depiction of an office romance …I mean the ML wasn’t a simp or entirely a tyrant and the FL had a personality outside of just having a high ranking bf…but I guess bc of how slow and realistic the romance was …this story felt a bit dull to me. Like I didn’t feel any romantic sparks from them and then all of a sudden they’re kissing and making out in ch 55…like it just felt so abrupt…but anywyas good story overall ig but wouldn’t reread. Their kids were cute as hell tho ahah

Ch 76, complete, My heart literally breaks for her, my poor baby, UGH HER EX HUSBAND IS TRASH, thank god Ash saved her from him. But it’s so sad to think that women in their society have no rights and are merely just objects to their husbands…so tragic. Ch6 (girl), ch7(ash) for two faced tiktok. (Complete at ch 72 + 4 side stories). And mannn glad the revenge was very satisfying, tbh I was a bit worried we weren’t gonna get to see any revenge since the FL seemed to just want to move on…which I can’t even be mad at, coz this story was so realistic to show that yea some ppl just would rather not get revenge and just move on with life…but thankfully for plot wise she was left with no choice but to get rid of her abusers and I’m so glad she did. This story was really nice and different with how realistic everything was. We got a FL who is heavily traumatized by her past and instead of her getting over it easily I like how we really see how much her past affects her even when she thinks she’s okay now…also this ML is the most supportive ML I’ve ever seen, usually MLs always just “save the damsel in distress” but I realy like how this ML gave the stage to the FL to prove herself and just gave her choices on what she wanted to do. He never forced her or did things for her, he always just supported her on the sidelines encouraging her with her goals and I love to see it. Such a beautiful healthy non toxic relationship. WHEN IS IT MY TURN!!! Overall the story was really really good, probably wouldn’t reread, but the concept was beautifully done and not too drawn out.

Ch 48 complete, okay so this was cute in the beginning but got so bad in the end. And not even bc it was rushed or anything but just bc the closure at the end sucked. Everyone in the comments was so mad the FL was being mean to the ML bc she found out his dad killed her parents but like…why would she be not mad??? She finds out from someone else that her bf’s dad is responsible for her parents deaths and then when she confronts him, she found out he knew but just didn’t tell her…like I would be mad too if you kept something that important from me. And even when she confronted him a second time about whether he would help her confront his dad and get justice for her parents he can’t even answer. Like wtf. Why would you still want to be with someone who is covering for your parents’ murderer?? Ugh and the fact she just took him back so easily and gave his dad a slap on the wrist with the “I don’t forgive you”…like okay?? You don’t forgive him but you don’t make him face any of the consequences for attempted treason & killing your parents?? For such a strong FL to make a decision like that, I was soooo disappointed. Totally ruined the story for me, bc like the whole story revolved around her finding the culprit behind her parents’ murders…and in the end she finds out who is it and doesn’t even punish them like wtf. I was even more invested in that plot more than the actual treason plot. But what a let down. The treason plot was a letdown too bc bro didn’t even hide the fact he was evil like we alllll knew he was the main villain. And he never even stood a chance still they had an op cheat and knew about his plans ahead of time. Plus we didn’t even get to see him get what he deserves. All they did was trap him in a mirror and that was it. Like I wanted to see him face the consequences for his crimes but like the ML’s dad, I guess the villains just don’t face any consequences huh. Idk good story but ended so bad ugh

Completed at ch 70, another one of those stories that started off good only to get terrible halfway through. I seriously had to push myself to finish all the way to the end bc the FL’s thought process is so stupid and all the conflicts give me sooo much whiplash. FL couldn’t put two and two together when she kept seeing Arina in her dream, like couldn’t she at least suspect they were related somehow seeing as Arina looked identical to her?? Like cmon even the evil Duke found out about that before she did, and she could literally see dreams from her mother Arina. Like so stupid, and they fact she got burned/poisoned not once but twice by the evil Duke bc she’s so just oblivious, like who willing accepts a gift from someone who you know wants to kill you without any sense of caution…and then she didn’t even hide the burn she got from it, like that’s basically telling everyone that’s you’re a witch with that burn. Literally one braincell, and they way she goes to the Duke’s lab without a plan to fight and instead easily gets drugged by the litumium stones. Like girlie whqt did you expect walking into enemy territory?? If anything the villain was much smarter than the leads. Bro the ML even showed up at the lab without any guards and was surprised the Duke had so many guards protecting the lab…again what did you already expect??? If anything when the other witches showed up for the ending battle I wanted to see them in action, only for the story to completely cut them out after. Bruh. And if we’re talking about cutting ppl out, poor Gretal got barely any screen time after the time skip and the kids grew up. If anything poor girl was just a side character after. And tbh usually I try my best not to mind age gap relationships when there’s been a gap in time and the leads Rencounter as adults but it just made me so uncomfortable how the FL keeps reminding us that Hansel was such a cute kid and now she’s in love with him. Like even as she was confessing her feelings to him, she thought wow he was such a cute kid and now he’s a handsome man…why would you even think about that now? So weird and gives off so many pedo vibes. If anything I found the leads story sooo mf boring, I’d much rather see Arina’s story and see how she gets revenge on her lover for using her. She seems much more of a badass bitch…or actually maybe I would just be annoyed of how this bad bitch keep running after this stupid loser who used her. Coz not in remembering she still clung to him even after everything so. Yea actually there was no character I really liked that much in this story. Overall this story was a flop. Pulled me in with a strong beginning and good premise just for it to suck. Shame fr.

Ch 90.5-9 (completed on bato) holy moly, that was a rough and turbulent ride but it ended well. I had a hate love relationship with the late emperor. I would root for him at times and then he would act stupid and I would hate him again…and it was a vicious cycle of me trying to support him and me wanting to rip his hair out…but glad it all got resolved in the end but whewww for real I wouldn’t have the dedicate to sit back and wait for the ML to change, too toxic but glad he finally had the character development he needed. On the other hand wow the FL is such a badass, she never faltered for me, so cool, definitely a Chinese manhua gem

Ch 48, imma be honest I was intrigued at first but then I got bored and before you know it I was just skimming waiting for it to end. The only likeable character was the FL, ML and their friend. Everyone else annoyed the hell outta, even tho I get ppl have their reasons and irl ppl are just slimeballs but still usually I’d want to se those ppl not win. Like Rilke being so smug annoyed tf outta me, Ik she’s just like that bc she’s fighting mysogy but damn she was still so unlikable. Even the princess who I guess had a good cause and being that she’s cold and calculating like royalty she fits being king BUT DAMN WHY ARE THESE PPL SO UNLIKABLE. I get why she had to be cautious of her brother but mans was literally just trying to survive and getting assiasstion attempts al the time and she did not care. Like damn good king ig but bad sister. So even if she had a good cause I couldn’t root for her. Man I just wanted to FL and ML to gtfo away from all these slim ball characters but ugh alas Ofc that didn’t happen. Whatever the main characters can only carry the story so much when literally every other character is unlikabke so yea would not reread

Ch 89, I’m ngl the only characters I really liked were the bunny girl, the FL, the ML, and his sister, everyone else is a shitstorm (well I guess I’ll also add Jisang to the list coz he was s victim, can’t blame him even if he wanted to kill the guy), but damn everyone else ugh. I’m kinda upset more at the other two teachers, yes Ik they’re crazy and pyscho but wtf they get no punishment to their actions? Their neglect led to kids taking things to far and bullying others but this story just kinda sept it under the rug like ooohhh but those teachers are psychos tho…WHO TF CARES if they’re psychos then they shouldn’t be teachers, seriously the only good teacher is the FL, all the other two don’t deserve to be teachers. Even the little orange haired PE teacher isn’t innocent bc even tho she didn’t directly contribute to hurting the victim, she knew it was happenekng and how the other teacher was adding fuel to the fire but she kinda just let it go. So fûcking annoying. Tbh those two teachers are the most toxic couple I’ve ever seen too, the guy is obsessed the girl but he also actively sleeps with other girls too, and the girl wants to kill herslef and gets off on the fact the guy is crazy for her. Wtf. All crazy. I didn’t even care too much for their stupid backstory/love story if anything I was more invested to seeing the FL’s backstory. Bc they mentioned her backstory through some smal flashbacks but we never get to actually see it, and the author just never explains jt….such a shame bc I was sooo more interested in that. I wanted to see her brothers and see why she’s so traumatized bc of that one guy who we still don’t know who tf he is. Idkkk mannn so many questions left unanswered. Ahhh we’ll it wasn’t a bad ready ig, the comedy parts were kinda funny but this story also left me feeling pretty fustrated too so …eh

Ch 62, wellll I like this story up until the end bc man the FL got so annoying. The whole situation about their real identities behind the game was so dragged out and dramatic. Like by then cmon we all knew the ML was black peng and the FL was amor, and they both knew it too. Hell everyone in the office even knew the FL was amor so it’s not like she was fooling anyone especially him, the ML. So when they easily could've just came clean to each other about their game identities and played the competition together at the FL’s place, idk why the ML literally had to be dramatic and go home. And then FL made it even more dramatic by feeding and losing on purpose bc she didn’t want to meet him irl, like wtf how selfish. She knows a lot of ppl wanted to win and she was just losing on purpose bc of petty emotions. So that kinda ruined the ending for me. Bc like wtf, I was so hype for the competition bc it seemed like it was going to be a close game, but no it just went from the FL losing on purpose to them easily beating the other team. Boring. And now that I think about it, the ML was boring too, it seemed like he had no other personality aside from smiping for the FL. Like it literally just felt like he was there in existence for the FL and nothing else. Made him the perfect ML but quite the boring character I feel. Anywayssss overall it was aight
